There ya go Greg, lots of updates for you! Now you owe me $300!

House Completion!

We took a quick trip down to Houston on Tuesday night and went over and took a look at our new house on Wednesday. It was a very quick trip but we got done all that we needed to. We came home prepared to clean and pack up our apartment here and hurry and get down in our house!

Greg asked what my favorite part of the house was...I said the kitchen faucet and sink. The faucet will come in very handy while cleaning dishes (a chore that will now become mine since Greg probably will be stuck in traffic when its time to clean up dinner messes)

We were excited about our huge bathtub...even if Greg doesn't look very thrilled here!

Kenzie's favorite part was that she could run around and we didn't have to tell her to stop because of downstairs neighbors! It was hard to get pictures of the house without her running around in them!

And of course Kenzie had to find a new favorite building. New city, new building!

Barbies, Babies and Dolls

Greg has this thing with dolls and Barbies. He refuses to play with them because they are "girl" toys. Kenzie asks him all the time to play Barbies and he will flat out refuse and distract her with something else to play with. This of course cracks me up because I don't care if it's a "girl" toy or a "boy" toy. To me a toy is a toy and anyone can play with whatever. So before naps the other day Kenzie came in to snuggle with Ben and I, and she brought one of her baby dolls. Ben just saw it and got all excited! He just had to play with it! So since Daddy was no where to be found I went ahead and let him play with it!
PS. Greg, sometimes I let Ben play with Barbies while you're at work too! Sorry!

Halloween

Halloween was great fun for us, even though we were bummed that we didn't get to go to Oklahoma and spend time with Greg's family. We went out Trick-or-Treating with both the kids and Kenzie enjoyed hearing how pretty she was and how cute her baby brother was too! Kenzie says her favorite part of Halloween was carving the pumpkins and Trick-or-Treating. Ben's favorite part had to be when one cute little lady gave him a big piece of candy; he chewed on it and carried it for a good hour!

Pumpkin Carving

This year I decided Greg and Kenzie would get to decide what to do with the big pumpkin we bought, and Ben and I would tackle the little one. Silly me forgot that the little ones usually have more goop in them then the bigger ones! We had a great time being outside and carving our pumpkins! Kenzie refused to sick her hand inside her pumpkin and help clean it and I'm afraid Ben would have probably been too eager to help so most of the work was done by myself and Greg! But we were happy with our results and it was one of Kenzie's favorite things to do for Halloween!

Trunk or Treat

Greg got the cooties during the week before Halloween. And of course what kind of person would he be if he didn't share? Who better to share his new found cooties with then me?!? So I was lucky enough to be out of commission during the two days before Halloween! Of course this time frame happened to coincide with our ward's Trunk or Treat. Luckily we've got great friends in our ward who took Kenzie to the Trunk or Treat for us! (Greg had a work thing that night). She had a great time from what we hear and came home with a bucket full of loot. She told us we had to hurry and eat it all so that she could refill her bucket on Halloween!

(Luckily the cooties didn't spread further then Greg and I!)

Nap Times

I'm a pretty lucky girl. I get to stay home with my babies (sorry Kenzie I will always consider you my baby!) and take care of them all day. I'm even luckier because I can usually sneak in a nap during the day time! Ben and I will usually take either a morning or afternoon nap together (he will then take the other one by himself). Kenzie prefers to enjoy her quiet time in her room playing with her toys. Usually by the time we wake up Kenzie has gotten bored of her toys and will come wandering into my room with a camera in hand and take pictures while we're sleeping and as we're waking up. At first I thought it was a little creepy but I enjoy seeing the pictures she takes and they always make me giggle!
